1878 Established as The 105th National Chartered Bank.
1879 Commenced banking business at 1 Tsusawanoue-chō. Capital ¥80 thousand.
1884 Became agent for the Bank of Japan Treasury Funds. Became handler of payment exchange for Mie Prefecture.
1897 Restructured as an ordinary bank and name changed to The Hyakugo Bank, Ltd.
(Head office: Daimon-chō 53 ban yashiki, Tsu City; Capital:¥240 thousand)
1901 Relocated Head Office to newly constructed building at Daimon-chō 1056, Tsu City.
1919 Received order from Jingu cash handling office.
1924 Head Office relocated to Iwatagawa, Marunouchi, Tsu City.
1949 Started offering the first Fukuju Term Deposit.
1951 Authorized to handle foreign exchange business.
1968 Head Office relocated to Iyomachi, Tsu City.
1972 Put exchange rates online. Built new administrative center in Sendo-machi, Tsu City.

1978 Celebrated the Bank’s 100th anniversary.
1980 Total deposits exceeded ¥1 trillion.
1981 Started overseas correspondent banking.
1983 Started over-the-counter sales of Japanese government bonds.
1985 Promoted to correspondent comprehensive approved bank.
Authorized to trade public bonds.
1987 Acquired license under the Secured Bonds Trust Act.
1988 Opened New York Representative Office. (Promoted to New York Branch in October 1991)
1989 Total deposits exceeded ¥2 trillion.
1991 Opened Singapore Representative Office.
1998 Started over-the-counter sales of investment funds.
1999 Reassigned the status of the New York Branch to a representative office.
Total deposits exceeded ¥3 trillion.
Obtained ISO 14001 certification.
2001 Started over-the-counter sales of individual pension insurance.
